Reason for Recall / Hazard

Nimbus 4 and Nimbus Professional mattresses may over-inflate, due to an inner mattress component failure. This cannot be detected until the product is disassembled.

Reason / Defects: Nimbus 4 and Nimbus Professional mattresses may over-inflate, due to an inner mattress component failure. This cannot be detected until the product is disassembled. Hazards: If the mattress over-inflates, patients could fall from the mattress and this could result in serious injury. What to do: Affected consumers will be contacted in writing. Consumers should follow the instructions provided in the customer letter and the instructional video, to puncture the grommet membrane so that excess air may escape.
