Reason / Defects: The accelerator pedal return spring may break during use and the accelerator pedal may not return when released. Hazards: Risk of serious injury from collision if the accelerator pedal doesn’t return when released and the vehicle doesn’t slow down as expected. At least 1 incident has occurred because of this defect. What to do: Stop using these vehicles and check if the golf car is affected. Contact your local Yamaha dealer to arrange for a free repair.
