A short circuit can occur in the charger when multiple wand-style GDX wireless educational sensors with damaged electrical contacts are plugged into the charging station. This can cause the charger to overheat and catch fire. Incidents have occurred.

Reason / Defects: A short circuit can occur in the charger when multiple wand-style GDX wireless educational sensors with damaged electrical contacts are plugged into the charging station. This can cause the charger to overheat and catch fire. Incidents have occurred. Hazards: There is a risk of a serious burn injury and/or property damage if the charging station overheats and catches fire. What to do: Consumers should stop using the product immediately and return them to Scientrific for repair, at no cost.
