Reason / Defects: Affected cylinders may have been overfilled, which could cause gas to be released from the safety valve in the cylinder. Hazards: There is a risk of serious injury from burns and property damage if: • the gas released from the cylinder comes into contact with an ignition source, or • the gas cylinder is connected to an appliance, and the liquid LPG flows into the appliance instead of gas, and it catches fire or explodes. There is also a risk of serious injury from cold burns if you come into contact with the gas as it releases from the valve. What to do: Stop using the cylinder immediately and disconnect it from any appliance. You should contact Elgas to arrange collection of the recalled cylinder and a replacement to be provided free of charge. Contact Elgas 0438698072 redreed@westnet.com.au
