Reason / Defects: The product does not comply with the Australian electrical safety standard: The metallic wall mount section cover is not earthed. The pull cord for the oscillation on/off switch has been routed incorrectly and when in use, could cause mechanical damage to the internal wiring. Hazards: Risk of electric shock, which can cause serious injury or death. What to do: Consumers should disconnect and stop using the fan immediately. Consumers should return the fan to the place of purchase for a full refund.
