Reason for Recall / Hazard
In some model year 2022-2023 RZR Pro R / Pro R 4 vehicles, the internal rotor inside the alternator may crack and separate while using the vehicle.

Reason / Defects: In some model year 2022-2023 RZR Pro R / Pro R 4 vehicles, the internal rotor inside the alternator may crack and separate while using the vehicle. Hazards: If an internal rotor of the alternator cracks during use, it poses the risk of fire and serious injury to vehicle occupants. What to do: Consumers should not operate their vehicle. Polaris will notify consumers once the recall repair procedure has been finalised. Consumers will then be able to contact their preferred Polaris dealer and arrange a time to book their vehicle in for repairs.
