Reason / Defects: The product does not comply with the mandatory standards for products containing button/coin batteries . The button/coin batteries are not adequately secured and are accessible by young children. The product does not include the required warning information. Hazards: There is a risk of choking, severe internal burn injuries or death to young children if they gain access to the button/coin batteries and swallow them or place them inside their body. Severe or fatal injuries can happen in 2 hours or less. What to do: Stop using the product immediately and keep it out of reach of children. Destroy and dispose of the product. Affected Products
Navy blue cotton cap with a light-up peak. Embroided logo on the front of the cap which states “MS Moonlight Walk”. Button/coin battery with on/off button under the side lining of the cap. The caps were awarded to participants at the 2024 MS Moonlight Walk on Saturday 19 October 2024 in Brisbane, Queensland.
