Reason / Defects: The front bellcrank in the brake system can fail. This can cause the brakes to fail. Hazards: Risk of death or serious injury to the user or bystanders if brakes fail while in use. Incidents have occurred overseas resulting in serious injuries. What to do: Stop using the tractor immediately. Do not use the tractor again until it has been repaired. Visit the John Deere website to check your product identification number/serial number to see if your tractor is recalled. John Deere will contact consumers to advise of repair availability.
