Reason / Defects: The battery has inadequate sealing for a marine environment. This defect can cause the battery cells to corrode and the battery to leak, vent, overheat or catch fire. Hazards: There is a risk of smoke and gas inhalation poisoning, serious injury, death, and damage to property if the battery leaks, vents, overheats or catches fire. What to do: Consumers should stop using the battery immediately, remove the battery, and store the battery in a cool area. Consumers should return the battery to the place of purchase to arrange for the battery to be refunded.
