Reason / Defects: Due to a manufacturing fault the rear brakes on affected bicycles may not function correctly. Hazards: Risk of accident and serious injury if the coaster brake on the rear wheel fails during use, preventing the rider from stopping safely and causing a fall. An incident has occurred. What to do: Stop riding the affected bicycle immediately. Take the affected bicycle to the place of purchase or nearest authorised Giant dealer for inspection and free replacement of the rear wheel and coaster brake. Contact Giant Bicycle Co. Affected Products
Children’s bicycles in various sizes and colours. Affected bicycles: Giant Animator MY2024 12” and 16” Metallic Green Cold Iron Orange Liv Ador MY2024 12”, 16” and 20” Dark Blue Salmon Aqua Lunar White Please see attached list of affected serial numbers. The serial numbers are on the bottom bracket shell and on a sticker located at the base of the down tube on the bicycle’s underside.
