Reason / Defects: A manufacturing defect in the power supply unit can cause the charger to malfunction and overheat. Hazards: Risk of fire or electric shock, which can cause serious injury or death. What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact Belkin Australia for a full refund and advice for disposal of the product. Belkin's Customer Advocacy team will then provide advice for safe disposal of the charger and provide instructions on the refund process.
