This fault may compromise the integrity of the firearm and cause the firearm to either: fracture and propel metal parts at high speed. cause the firearm to stop working. Hazards: There is a risk of laceration, serious injury or death if the firearm fractures and propels metal parts at high speed. What to do: Stop using the shotgun immediately. Check to see if your shotgun is affected using the serial number checking tool .
