Reason / Defects: The plastic D-ring handle that is used to unlock the weight pocket from the BCD can detach during use and prevent the weight pocket being removed from the BCD when rising to the surface. Hazards: Risk of serious injury and death by drowning if the weight pocket cannot be removed whilst diving or in an emergency from the BCD. Incidents of the D-ring detaching on land have occurred. What to do: Stop using the weight pockets immediately. Register your weight pockets online at https://scubapro.johnsonoutdoors.com/us/recalls to arrange a free repair of the D-ring at a local SCUBAPRO authorised dealer or to obtain a prepaid shipping label to return the weight pocket to SCUBAPRO for a free repair.
