The cranks may not have been installed to factory specification and may disengage during riding.

Product Description & Identification

Reason / Defects: The cranks may not have been installed to factory specification and may disengage during riding. Hazards: If the pedal and crank arm fall off while the bicycle is being ridden, the rider may lose control of the bicycle, increasing the risk of an accident or injury. What to do: Stop using the affected bikes immediately and return them to your nearest Authorised Specialized Retailer for free inspection and repair. Affected Products

This recall was extended in March 2022 to include additional models. Specialized Sirrus Bikes with two-piece slotted cranks originally equipped on selected MY2019-2022. Affected models include: • MY 2019 - Sirrus Sport (including EQ and Step-Through versions) and Sirrus X Comp Carbon • MY 2020 - Sirrus Models 3.0, 4.0, X3.0, X4.0 and X5.0 • MY 2021 – Sirrus Models X3.0 and X4.0 • MY 2022 – Sirrus Models X3.0 and X4.0 Affected bikes were sold from 1 July 2018 to March 2022.
