Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact DR Power for a free repair kit, that includes a metal outer shield to be bolted onto the existing chute of the recalled leaf vacuums and installation instructions. Consumers who responded to the original recall should nevertheless contact DR Power for the new remedy.For more information, consumers can contact DR Power LLP by telephone at toll-free at 877-221-4038 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, by email at recall@drpower.com or online at https://www.drpower.com/LLV-FreeRepairKit and click on the “Product Recalls” link located at the bottom of the page for more information. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Generac Power Systems, Inc. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
