Product Description & Identification

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and detach the TV from the support stand. Consumers should then place the television face down on a soft cloth or blanket in a safe location away from children. Contact LG Electronics for instructions on how to inspect the unit and to obtain replacement screws and stand parts, including help from a technician for a free repair. Consumers whose TVs are wall-mounted do not need to stop using them.For more information, consumers can contact LG Electronics’ customer service by telephone at 888-542-2623 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. EST, by e-mail at lgspecialsupport@lge.com or by visiting the website LG Announcements (English), or LG Faire-part (French).Consumers will also be able to obtain information through a live chat function accessible on the website.Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC), PROFECO and LG Electronics Canada, Inc.Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.This recall is also posted on the OECD Global Portal on Product Recalls website.
