TranslatedChrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar Occupant Restraint Controller Modules with part numbers 68599746AD, 68599750AE, and 68599752AE. A software error in the occupant restraint control module may cause the driver's side air bag and/or seat belt pretensioner not to deploy in a crash and disable the electronic stability control (ESC) system. As such, this equipment fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems."
