Reason / Defects: Tablets have been identified as having microbial mould growth ( Penicillium ) appearing on tableted product. This appears to be occurring after some time in storage and is visible to the naked eye as black or brown patchy spots. Hazards: Penicillium mould can cause an adverse reaction, including an allergic reaction, and may pose a risk to people with weakened immune systems. What to do: If you or someone you care for has tablets in the affected batches, do not use these. Return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.
