Produktbeschreibung & Identifikation
TranslatedReason / Defects: The stopper on affected products does not have a pressure release valve. Pressure may build up inside the container and may cause the stopper beneath the lid to eject forcefully when opened. Hazards: Risk of serious injury from impact and lacerations if the affected stopper ejects while in use. Incidents have occurred in the United States resulting in injury, including 3 reports of permanent vision loss after being struck in the eye. What to do: Stop using affected products immediately. Check the underside of the stopper to see if it has a pressure relief feature. If the stopper does not have a pressure relief feature on the base, it is an affected product. The stopper is located beneath the stainless-steel lid. Contact Thermos to arrange a replacement stopper (expected to be available by July 2026). Consumers will need to provide their name, contact details, postal address and a photo of the underside of their affected stopper. When replacement stoppers are available, Thermos will ask consumers to safely dispose of the affected stopper and send a replacement stopper for each affected product at no cost, together with installation instructions.
