The batteries are not secured, and children could access the button/coin batteries. The product is missing warning information about the dangers of button/coin batteries to children what to do when a person suspects someone has swallowed or placed a button/coin battery inside any part of their body. Hazards: Children are at risk of choking, serious injury or death if they swallow or place button/coin batteries inside their bodies. If you suspect a child has swallowed or inserted a button/coin battery: Call Triple Zero (000) if a child is having any difficulty breathing. Call the Poisons Information Centre immediately on 13 11 26, available 24 hours a day. They can direct you to an appropriate medical facility. Early action can save lives. Do not wait for symptoms to develop. What to do: Stop using the LED tealight flameless candle immediately and keep out of reach of children. Contact the National Museum of Australia to arrange a refund for the lantern materials, including the LED tealight flameless candle. You can claim this refund if you attended the free lantern making workshop or if you paid for a ticket. When you have contacted the National Museum of Australia you will be advised to return the LED flameless tealight candle to the Museum in person or by post (marked Tealight Recall and addressed to National Museum of Australia, Lawson Cres, Acton ACT 2601) or to dispose of it in accordance with local regulations for disposal of products containing button/coin batteries.
