The left handlebar switch harness may corrode due to oxidation, resulting in the loss of horn function or the ability to switch the headlight from low beam to high beam. As such, these motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
