Reason / Defects: The lithium-ion battery in the power bank can overheat, which could pose a fire hazard to consumers. Hazards: Risk of serious burn injury and/or property damage if the battery catches fire. Incidents have occurred overseas, resulting in property damage and 2 minor burn injuries. What to do: Stop using affected power banks immediately. Disconnect from any power supply or other products and place in a safe dry location away from anything flammable or anything that can damage the power bank. Visit the Belkin recall page for instructions on how to obtain a refund or store credit. Dispose of affected power banks in accordance with local requirements for lithium-ion batteries. Do not place power banks in household rubbish or recycling bins. Contact Belkin Call 1800 235 546 from 6:00am to 5:00pm AEST, Monday to Friday.
